Bermuda has the sound of a place nestled in the Caribbean with all the other fun-loving tropical islands, but in fact it exists in a realm of its own. You might be surprised to realize that it’s actually located east of the States in the Atlantic Ocean, closer to North Carolina than to Florida. This doesn’t mean it’s cold and blustery, though; quite the opposite. Bermuda is a lush, lovely collection of islands that will satisfy your vacation cravings by transporting you to an unexpected and dreamlike atmosphere, far different than what you’re used to.

The Gulf Stream lovingly warms Bermuda with gentle caresses, but the islands never become too hot to handle. Average summer temperatures float between 75 and 85 degrees, while winter is filled with pleasant 70 degree days. And, for hurricane-phobes, take note that while tropical storms do happen every few years, they are far less prevalent than in the Caribbean. That’s just one more reason for heading off in a whole new direction.

Seventy five miles of coastline that surround rolling hills, interesting rock formations, and lots of space for replenishing one’s energy supply characterize this sprawling archipelago. For some reason nature decided that this would be a good place to allow lava to cool and limestone to push up towards the sun, and what was born was a splendid sight to see. Not that it makes a big difference, but rather than being simply an island, Bermuda is a string of 181 distinct bodies of land. Some are larger islets and some are merely jutting rocks, but they combine to make a geologically unique and visually interesting vacation spot.

Explore the terrain while you’re here, keeping your eyes open for the famous tree frogs that sing their songs and add a little extra color to the landscape. Endangered sea turtles and over 350 types of birds also make Bermuda their home, sometimes blending in, sometimes standing out, but always there if you take the time to look. Over the years, colonists and settlers have crafted a virtual paradise of plants and flowers, so in terms of natural wonders and beauty, there’s plenty here to please your senses.

Of course, what’s an island vacation without a thorough investigation of the beach scene? Bermuda is blessed with another extraordinary quality in the form of its coastal environment. You won’t find regular-old sand here, instead it’s something utterly pleasing, precious, and pink. Thanks to the coral reefs that surround the islands, the minute particles that go on to make up the sand have a decidedly rosy hue. Thus, the beaches are distinctively desirable and different, shifting your perceptions yet again. Just when you think you have this place figured out, it drops another surprise.

Most of the blushing beaches are public, welcome, and easily accessible. From South Shore Park to Horseshoe Bay, a coastal trail will lead you on your way as you traverse and enjoy the surroundings. If you stick around for a sunset, you’ll be even more dazzled by the colorful splashes of brilliance everywhere you look, from land to sparkling sea.

Once you’ve gotten your bearings and realized the beauty of Bermuda, it’ll be time to have a little fun. From fishing to parasailing, kayaking to sailing, the ocean will become your playground for as many hours a day as you please. On dry land, you’ll be tempted to golf on a world-class course, zip around on a moped, go for a morning hike, schedule a spa session, learn to play cricket, and much more. After a few days of staying active yet relaxed, busy yet pampered, you’ll realize that you’ve never felt better. A permanent move to Bermuda probably isn’t in the cards, but don’t despair. Take full advantage of this experience while you’re here, and take notes so that your next trip can be even better.

Your first trip to Bermuda deserves all the trimmings, so instead of staying in a traditional hotel, think about the possibility of a vacation rental. A stone’s throw away from the beach and all the activities of the town will provide convenience on a grand scale, and the plentiful amenities within the walls of your charming cottage, condo, or villa will complete the picture of perfection. From kitchen supplies to internet access, extra towels to a friendly lanai, all that you could ever imagine will be within reach should you decide to treat yourself to a lodging experience that matches the delights of Bermuda itself.

Go online to start researching Bermuda Vacation Rentals as well as the activities, sights and sounds that will fill your upcoming getaway, and prepare to discover a whole new range of relaxing and engaging opportunities.

Golf clubs are manufactured to meet the demands of different genders, height and skill level – at one stage the same could be said regarding the aesthetics of golf equipment. Regardless of gender it’s important to remember that in the beginning it’s not necessary to purchase the most expensive range of golf clubs – what is important is selecting a set of ladies golf clubs that match your skill level and purpose – for example clubs which are suitable for learners and/or infrequent players. The most practical advice is start playing with an inexpensive set of ladies golf clubs and advance to the next set of clubs when appropriate to do so.

The following sets of ladies golf clubs are suitable for players starting out in the game or until you can reach a decent handicap at your local golf course. After that goal is achieved it is worth considering the benefits of ladies golf clubs – valued in excess of a hundred pounds. If you are thinking about taking a holiday any time of the year and you are thinking to yourself that you want to go on a gold holiday then I suggest that you definitely think strongly about going over to France and going for a golfing holiday there. Golf in France is absolutely brilliant, they have nice weather, activities, brilliant golf and some of the best golf courses in the world.

If you do decide to go and play golf in France then would have made one of the best decisions for a long time. There is always so much to do on these holidays as well as playing golf. Many resorts out in France have brilliant restaurants, swimming pools and activities.

The best thing about taking a holiday and playing golf in France is that you can take nearly anybody you want with you even if they themselves do not like golf. You can go with a partner or a friend that enjoy or hate golf. For the non golfer they will be able to laze about round swimming pools and have a look around the French towns that will be close by, they can visit museums and places of interest, all the while you can be playing golf on a beautiful 18 hole golf course no matter what experience you have. I will explain about this later on in the article.

You can even go and play golf in France on a family holiday, due to the fact that more and more people are going over here to play golf, resorts have started to offer a lot more activities and things to do and see for the younger generation. You will go to a resort and pretty much it is guaranteed that they will have something for the kids so that you can get on with playing the sport you love whilst you know that they are in good hands. These are usually called “kids club” which is where you will your kids taken out of your hair and looked after and entertained by one of the many professional staff that these resorts have. They will have activities and things for the kids to do leaving you to have fun playing golf in France.

Another of the best bits about playing golf in France is that you do not even need to be an experienced golfer to play and enjoy the sport on these fantastic courses. Many resorts will have a on course golf professional. These professionals are usually there to teach you no matter what your experience level, they can give great advice or teach you from the beginning up. You do not need to go and see the golf professional either so even if you are a beginner and just want to get on with it then you can no problem. The people out here seem to be really friendly and do not get troubled by you if you are being slow which is great. Many of them will even offer to help you or just start talking to you. The atmosphere is so friendly.

Golf in France is fantastic and if golf is what you are into them I definitely recommend it to anyone even if you don’t like golf give it a go and you may have the best time of your life.

Ski enthusiasts know that Colorado is the place to go to satisfy the need to speed down the powdery slopes in an atmosphere of excitement and comfort. Head west from Denver to Avon to see a stretch of the most privileged terrain around in terms of meeting vacationers’ expectations during any season of the year. Summer, Spring, Fall or wonderland-ish Winter all spell adventure, relaxation and serene beauty, so make your way down Interstate 70 if you’re in need of a break from the trials and tribulations of the real world. Silverthorne, “The Gateway to Summit County” is a popular choice among savvy travelers based on the assortment of diversions it has to offer, so consider making this the place you stop to settle in for a few days of fun.

Just to get it out of the way, there are four world class ski resorts within 20 minutes of Silverthorne. Thus, winter visitors will be sure to get their snow sport fix in one of many ways, be it skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or just bundling up and stepping out for a stroll in order to hear that delightful crunchy-snow sound beneath your boots. Filling one’s lungs with crisp morning air is the most refreshing, I’m-so-glad-I’m-alive feeling, and after a little while nothing beats returning inside, warming your hands by the fire, and sipping hot cocoa while you admire the flushed cheeks of your beloved. It’s easy to see why, for some people, a year isn’t complete without a ski trip.

Indoors activities are also available for the less-enthusiastic cold weather travelers, so if one of your companions tires easily when faced with looming mountains and brisk breezes, let them know that there are shopping opportunities galore (Silverthorne is a shop-a-holic’s paradise) in addition to casino games and spas. Everyone will find something to do at any time, so don’t fret that the vacation will leave a member of your group stranded or bored.

Moving on to warmer seasons, Colorado and Silverthorne as well are blessed with fine weather that’s perfectly inviting for a number of outdoor pursuits. Some would argue that there’s actually more to do here when the snow has melted, so be sure to check out the hiking trails, wildflowers, rushing streams and all the other eye-catching and pulse-quickening sights and sounds. Book a guide to steer you down the rapids, hop on a horse for an alpine trail ride, or tie your hiking boots on securely and set out on an adventure of your own design. Scaling the cliffs is just as exhilarating as whooshing down them via ski, so don’t discount Silverthorne as a happening summer vacation destination.

Lakes make for calmer experiences like fishing and simply paddling around, golf courses allow for a few fabulous rounds of your favorite frustrating sport, and jeep tours will keep less able travelers off their feet yet able to take in all the amazing scenery. Shopping is of course still big during the summer, especially the outlet stores in Silverthorne. Good deals are practically guaranteed, so save some room in your suitcase because you’ll surely bring home more than you left the house with.

No matter what time of year you come to Silverthorne, the theme of your trip will be peace, quiet and choices. Even the in-between seasons will be a blast as you dress for whatever the weather is and trek around the amazing Rocky Mountains; they never really look bad. A helpful hint that will further increase your satisfaction level is to rent a vacation property. Hot commodities in the winter for being near the ski lifts and bargains in the “off-season” of summer make these spacious, comfortable and homey places the perfect complement to any vacation. You don’t have to be wealthy to settle into a gorgeous mountaintop villa or cute romantic cottage, so explore the wide array of options if you’re interested in making your Colorado vacation extra special.

The fact that you can swing by Silverthorne any time of the year frees you to plan at your leisure, but it’s best to get started as soon as possible to ensure that you have the greatest number of Silverthorne Vacation Rentals to choose from. Coordinate with your future traveling companions, talk to your boss about taking a healthy chunk of time off work, and prepare to experience the vacation you’ve thus far only imagined.

A golf bag is an essential equipment that is used to carry all your golf stuff. This will include your golf balls, golf clubs, markers, tees and even umbrellas and towels.

Golf bags don’t have any effect on the result of the game. But, they can greatly affect your attitude by way of offering comfort as you makes your way around the course.

As to how much load in your gear you put in the bag is up to you. You also have the choice of how it will be moved around the course. Either by your hand, by a caddie or on a cart.

If you plan on riding in a golf cart on your rounds, then the weight is not a factor. But if you plan on carrying it yourself, then a lighter bag is a ‘no brainer’.

Types of golf bags:

1. Staff bags. These are the largest types of golf bags. They can hold a complete set of golf clubs and have many side pockets. These are the other golf items and equipment that you may wishe to take along.

Almost all professional golfers prefer the staff bag because they can hold a lot of equipment. And since their caddy carries their bag, weight is never a problem.

A good staff bag is one made of leather or materials that are of high quality and are more expensive.

2. Cart Bags. A lot smaller in size compared to staff bags. But they are more bulky and may be hard to carry around the course. These bags are designed to be used on golf carts but have fewer pockets and storage capacity.

3. Carry Bags. The smallest type, and are normally made from plastic, nylon and other light materials. These bags are constructed to hold the essentials such as the golf clubs, a few small golf accessories and balls. They are the right choice for the golfer who favors to carry his own bag.

Choosing the right bag for you

1. When deciding on which bag to buy, take into account the price and your budget. How much you can afford will determine what type and quality bag is right for you. But, as I have said, the more expensive it is, the more complex the features of the bag. Keep in mind however, that the bag will not directly effect your game. Golf shoes, clubs and balls, on the other hand, will have a more significant impact than the bag.

2. Features. You should be aware of what features you need in your bag and what equipment it will need to contain. A bag that can stand alone will make it easier to take out your golf clubs during your game. You may also need to carry an umbrella. If this is the case, you would need an umbrella slot. However, if you only take the basic gear, you may want consider a simple and light bag that can accommodate just the basics.

Have you heard about the Stack and Tilt golf swing?

Well, thanks to two men by the names of Andy Plumber and Mike Bennett (who are currently teaching golfers their unbelievable golf swing method on and off the PGA tour) there is now a new way to swing your golf club. The stack and tilt golf swing was formed by  who invented the swing “stack and tilt” to help all players find their proper golf form and to use the stack and tilt golf swing to hit the ball correctly each and every time.

Today there are over 18 pro golfers including Aaron Baddeley (who are currently playing on the PGA golf tour) that are using this type of golf swing! Why? Because they feel that they have more control over their golf swing and they are having success with it. The stack and tilt golf swing can help you drive the ball longer and will make you much more comfortable as you swing your golf club.

This method of golf swing requires you to turn your shoulders in a circle, so you always hit the ground under the ball in the exact same spot each and every time. As well as moving the shoulders the spine is moving too, the spine is tilting as you move to hit the golf ball.

This is revolutionary stuff, because we as golfers have always been told to keep the shoulders straight and not to move them. The reason why this golf swing method is called the Stand and Tilt is because your stacked up at a hips and to stay stacked your tilting your spine.

If you looked on the various news headlines emerging from the Middle East, you will notice a substantial shift taking place in the manner they have been reporting about this region as a whole. From various military coups to the stories of political vendetta; from gun totting hostage takers to the unnerving interpretation of Islam; and from the so-called lack of democratization to the non existent human rights, the Middle East has always had to bear the brunt of hostile news reporting. But, the emerging trade and commerce and tourism activities in Dubai are fundamentally changing this long held stereotyped interpretation of the Muslim world now.

Don’t be surprised therefore, if the British footballer David Beckham and the Spice Girl Victoria are seen walking out of one of its famous five star hotels, or if the reigning formula one champion Michael Schumacher is spotted unwinding somewhere on its breathtaking shorelines. You will also come to notice some very famous names from the corporate world making regular rounds of this famous city. From top cine stars to sports celebrities and from the multi-billion empire holders to the average holiday making freaks, all are increasingly being seen on Dubai’s soil these days. This in itself, speaks a lot of how dramatically the world’s vision of the Middle East has transformed.

The next round of Dubai Tennis Championships to be held in February and March 2007 will be another treat for the tennis lovers and the media managers both. Names like the William sisters – Serena and Venus and Andre Agassi have played on this venue and enthralled the audiences in the recent past. Equally reported have had been the events like a friendly match organized between Andre Agassi and Roger Federer on the helipad of Burj Al Arab hotel. Tennis balls kept falling down inside the Arabian sea as the two players proceeded with some of their favourite strokes. Not too behind was Tiger Woods who made use of the same helipad for his golf practice. Woods was in Dubai to take part in the Dubai Desert Classic and couldn’t resist the temptation of practicing on such a breathtaking height.

If the celebrity spotting has become one of the new trends in Dubai’s social life, then so is the emerging competition among the hotel owners for making the best out of this pulsating market. They are making all efforts, like building of more niche hotels, to cap this upscale clientele. This means exclusively targeting the business travellers and the multimillionaires from across the globe. Apart from Dubai, Lebanon and Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt have also been trying to raise their stakes. However, the former is well ahead in the race involving these three.

Dubai’s desire of opening its borers to the outside world has been well received and reciprocated by the latter. As a result we are witnessing the very fundamental image of the Middle East taking a new turn in the global environment. By allowing so many expatriates on its soil, Dubai has made its friendly intentions clear. Expatriates will continue on playing a crucial role in the local economy, hence making the exchange of the Arabian peninsula with the outside world stronger. It speaks of a pleasing scenario, which will continue to get on more shades with each passing day.
